I came across this the other day while browsing the Credentials Manager in Windows 7:
I was a bit alarmed but after a little research I found these credentials are created when you use any of the Windows Live products or Windows XP mode.

OK – Any idea what Windows Live ID uses them to do? So odd to see a user name and password on my local machine that I – as the Admin – did not put there…..

authentication for any of the windows live products or autologon for virtual PC. If you didn’t install any of these products maybe they were part of already installed bloatware.
